TOR001 B - Bronze Neck Torc

This solid Bronze Torque has been inspired by neck rings found throughout Europe, which date from the Iron age to the Early mediaeval period. Our Dragon  Torc has been handmade with traditional Viking wire twisting techniques and a chunky, yet highly detailed design and finished with our classic dragon head terminals at each end.

Torcs are thought to have been worn by both Men and Women.

While it is thought that Vikings preferred a neck piece that fastened together our head craftsman has developed an elegant, contemporary piece that has been infused with iconic Viking style.

This piece weighs 150g  and measures 19cm with a 9.2cm gap between the terminals, and is hand made in Scotland.

This Torc is designed to be worn loose and adjustable only once. Please bend with gentle and even pressure so that you can slide the Torc onto your neck. Do not adjust further. Avoid wearing in showers and pools as chemicals and soaps can cause the metal to tarnish faster.
