This decorative knotwork pendant is based on a design that was a part of the hoard that was found on the Baltic Islands of Hiddensee. The design dates from the 10th Century, and the originals were probably made in Denmark.
It can be paired with AV030 or AV041 to recreate the gold necklace that was found in the hoard. It contained 6 of the large pendants (AV041), 4 of the smaller pendants (similar to AV030) and 4 of these spacers.
Our pewter spacers are cast and hand finished by us in Scotland. They come with a length of black waxed cord, and are presented on a pendant card.
We get our pewter gold plated by experts in England. The gold is 1 micron thick. These are supplied with a length of leather cord, and come gift boxed.
Both the pewter and gold plated pendants come with a short description on the back of their packaging.
