ABR021 - Hedeby Dragon Headed Pin

This pin is based on a viking age find from Hedeby in Denmark. The design is executed in the Borre style, and it can be used as a hair pin or to fasten a cloak or shawl. The loop on the head being used to attach a chord or thong to hold it in place.

This pin is cast in lead free pewter by us in Scotland, and is supplied with a gift box.
