ABR020 - Urnes Style Brooch

This open-work brooch depicts an Urnes style animal, possibly a horse or dragon with snakes entwined around its body and limbs. It is based on a find from Trollashogur, Iceland. The style of the design dates the original to the 11th Century, towards the end of the viking age.

This brooch is cast by us in lead free pewter, and hand finished in Scotland. It is supplied with a gift box.
